Hi, I’m Karen. I’m a 20-something graduate student currently residing in Indiana. This blog is a way for me to share my fitness enthusiasm, connect with other runners, and chronicle my journey through the good runs, the bad runs, the foam rolling, the early mornings, the headlamps, the blisters, and all of that fun stuff that runners bond over.
My “how I got started” is the classic tale of band geek turned runner. I started running in high school to get in shape to march a seven-mile parade carrying a trombone, and I haven’t stopped since. With guidance from my runner dad, I got into races, and I’ve completed 5 marathons, 10 half marathons, and a handful of 5k and 10k races. Pop over to the race page to read more.
